Drama

The drama workshops concentrate on students learning to focus
and develop self discipline through the context of theatre. These
workshops are designed to allow students 11-18 to tap into hidden
talents to release a more confident person.
Students are challenged to use their imagination, creative and
analytical thinking skills to do improvisation, create situations,
develop characterization, utilizing stage areas and props and
theatre games. Students are challenged to work together to create
scenes as well as participate in exercises that pushes them beyond
their limitations.
Developing skills such as thinking on their feet, focus, correct
vocal production and articulation as well as teamwork gives them
tools that can be used in their daily lives.
Vocal
Music

The vocal music workshop designed to peak the interest of the
student with the raw talent and the student that has a desire
to learn to sing. It is an intense workshop for students ages
11-18 that will improve there singing ability by leaps and bounds.
This workshop develops leadership, confidence and individual
singing ability while teaching fundamental music theory and vocal
technique. The participant of this workshop will be introduced
to the technicalities of singing in an enjoyable environment.
Through the instructors experience participants will gain knowledge
that can be use in singing as well as their world at large. (The
week long workshops include a song writing component.)
3hr. sessions-$225/15 students (+$25 gas stipend if traveling
out of Atlanta Metro Area.)
Combination Vocal Music/ Drama: In this workshop students will
learn the fundamentals of vocal technique and theatre while creating
an original script with text and songs that they have created.
Entrepreneurship/Financial Development

Through entrepreneurship education, the mini business workshop
helps young people from low-income communities develop their individual
skills and talents. It is an intensive workshop for students ages
13-18 who are interested in entrepreneurship.
The mission is achieved by creating engaging, experiential curricula
and tools to improve academic, business and life skills. The unique
aspect of the workshop is the hands-on activities students learn
about business by setting up their own businesses.
The students select their own real businesses, create their own
business cards and flyers, receive a small grant to purchase inventory
during a field trip to wholesalers which they then sell at a market
day or other retail-sales venue. A week long session ends with
each student preparing a business plan for a real business they
believe can be profitable.
These workshops will be offered to camps in and around the Atlanta
Metro area. We also conduct these workshops on your camp site.
